Stain Removal- Ink on Wood

Don't know if this will work, but the Mister Clean magic eraser works on just about everything. I'd test it on a discreet area first, though.
Also, Target has some cute runners on clearance right now!

I can't decide who is worse my husband or the kids!! Just kidding. I have to also plug the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. These things are awesome. My son used a permanent marker on my counter tops and cabinents. The eraser took off ALL of the permanant marker and nothing else. They also work great for getting crayons and pencil marks off walls. Another job well done is the bottom of the shower stall and the kitchen sink. It gets all the scuffs marks out. Target also sells a knock-off version of these at a cheaper price and they are just as good as the Mr. Clean type. Probably a little more info than you planned for, but these are a really great product. Good Luck

Have you tried Mr.Clean's Magic Eraser? My daughter used a permanent marker on her wood table and on our wood floor. The stains are gone! (Test it in an inconspicuous area b/c it can dull the finish a little - maybe better than a red spot though?) Good Luck!

I have absolutely no idea, but you could try (on the underside first to be sure it doesn't ruin the finish) hair spray - I hear that removes ball point pen ink, or baking soda. I have a stain guide that says rubbing alcohol, but again, test it first...I'd hate to be the cause of a ruined table. If it doesn't come out, put some more drinks on other shapes of colored construction paper to make a purposeful design. : )

I have used the Mr Clean Magic Eraser works great!

My daughter just did the exact same thing to my coffee table. She spilled a glass of water and a red book bled and left a rectangle. My brother grabbed Pine Sol I have no idea why and kept wiping at it. At first is just faded the red rectangle but now it's completly gone. I guess Pine Sol is magic. I know hairspray will get ink out things as well.

Magic Eraser might do the trick.....but I question the wood surface. You could also try Avon original Skin so Soft. This has worked miracles on ink removal from leather as well as our upholstered chairs.....Good Luck with whatever you try.

I have found that goo-gone works for alot of stuff.. From taking color crayons and markers off walls and tables to getting sticky stuff off as well... Try it it might work..
It is sold at any target walmart k-mart I think you can get it just about anywhere..

I would try Magic Erasers. They have been a lifesaver for us, in all sorts of stain issues. Get em at walmart in cleaning section.

Try Clorox clean up or there is this stuff they sell at home depot or menatds called Krud Kutter it has worked some miracles at my house!

My Mom had told me to use regular mayo when my dining table had a similar thing happen to it.....it didn't work for me, but maybe it will for you :)

My twins got a hold of a green permanent marker and used their oak closet doors as some paper. What worked to get it off was Mr. Clean magic eraser. You might want to try it. good luck!

I know everyone is suggesting the Magic Eraser, but if it doesn't work, try 50/50 ratio of Hydrogen Peroxide to water. Hyrdogen Peroxide is supposedly a magic liquid that can be used for many many different things. I would definately try Magic Eraser first, and then the Hydro in a small area.

Try the Magic Eraser by arm and Hammer or Mr clean whatever it is it take out just about anything. Like perm marker on plastic and my dinning room table... But after you use it make sure to wipe the table with a wet cloth for it leaves a white residue... Good Luck !!!!
