I am looking for any info you can give me on Childcare for infants in Denton. Who knew you had to start looking at only 16 weeks pregnant!! We are on the waiting list at Primrose, really like the place but want to explore all options. A friend of a friend recommended Springbok Academy Can anyone give me more insight on these 2 places? We do not need a spot until April when I go back to work.

What can I do next?

We also have an infant community at Countryside Montessori. You would need to tour and place a deposit now to reserve your spot. They do go fast!

I have heard many great things about Springbok and only a couple of not so good things about Primrose. I have experience with exclusively babies and would recommend you stay far away from them. Don't know where you live but Becky's Country Kiddie Barn is awesome. The address is in Argyle but it isn't too far a drive depending on where you work.

My nephew goes to Springbok and they love it. I know they teach (I was told some are retired teachers?). They think they are the best around here for curriculum.

I would go there but they quoted me $175/wk for an infant (on top of $135 for my almost 2 year old). Too expensive for us, so we are staying where we are at.

I used to work at Springbok many moons ago when I was in college. Now I have two of my own and would send them both if I needed care in Denton. Dena Bruton Claus used to be the director, but I believe that she moved away and left the business to Liz (I forgot the last name)- but she was there when I was there as well. I know that Liz actually has some montesori training as well and probably incorporates that into the curriculum. When I worked there they made it a point to employ as many people that had experience in the child development field as possible. Most of us were in school getting degrees in teaching or child development. Hope this helps.
