This is a 2-part question for all moms in/near Brookfield, IL:
1. Do you know of a great spa where I can get pampered (manicure, pedicure, massage...) in the area? (Note: Although Oakbrook is close, I'm not a fan of Mario Tricocci.)
2. Is there anywhere in the area to have my eyebrows threaded? I could drive back out to Darien, but I'd rather find a place closer to home.
There is a place in North Riverside Park Mall that does threading. I haven't tried it yet but the ladies I've watched having it done always seem pleased with the results.
Have you tried the spa at Nordstrom? I've heard nothing but wonderful things about them. There are a bunch of spas in LaGrange, but I don't know much about them. I usually come into the city for all my appts - hair, massage, facial, waxing. I work in Lincoln Park, so usually just take care of those things after work. Sorry not to have more help!
I know you wanted something close to home, but the place I go to for threading is called Beauty Vision. Its at the intesection of Rte 53 and Butterfield Rd (Near the Wal-Mart, Abbington Banquet Hall etc). They are really good. Eyebrow threading is 6 bucks and you can get a punch card... after every 5 threadings, the 6th one is free.

I'm not any help with the spa at all, but have you checked out your local mall(s) for the threading? I know a lot of malls have a little stand that does the threading(the little stands who set up in the middle of the mall). I just go to our local mall and it's usually about $8-10 for the eyebrow threading :)

I really like Bozena in Indian Head Park. I thought their mani Pedi were ok. However their other spa services were very nice. For mani and pedi I REALLY like the nail station accross from the LaGrange train station. And it's only 29.00 for both. Good Luck!
