I'm on a budget, where can my family go and stay in Colorado? Where can I find a hill for free snow tubing?

Thank you!
D.

What can I do next?

I decided to change my post. It was really wrong of me to suggest doing an actual Internet search for information such as this (and every other question this poster has had). Very wrong. Bad google. Bad V.. Have at it, friends. You weren't able to answer her question - oh yeah, I did, I gave a search with all the information requested, including reviews. I'm sure structuring an entire trip from Texas to Colorado for an afternoon on the secret hill behind Kroger's will be a cost effective alternative to actual information. So I took away the info I offered.

I've never changed a post before - don't believe in it. But I don't want to be... What was it? Snatchy (classy, that, and not at all flaming, a TOS violation)? Oh, and If you don't like my post, your browser has a back button - I read that somewhere.

It may not be the nicest answer, but I will say the first one is one of only two that provide any actual information about the poster's question. It seems pretty unlikely that anyone here will actually be able to answer this question. I kind of agree that I would start with an Internet search myself or with the Colorado department of tourism before I'd ask here.

I will say that it is okay to ask these questions...because often the google doesn't tell you details like which one is the best etc.

Veruca Salt....Life doesn't revolve around google. Maybe we prefer to hear other peoples answers before "googling" it. And i am pretty sure she googled it...as i know i have before i asked my question and funny enough, you gave instructions on how to google. thanks i know how to do that....as most do!

lastly...if we always went to google for answers, there would be no need for your remarks to our questions :)~ google on baby google on.

sorry D.M. to intrude on your message. I one day need to visit Colorado, but before I decide where to visit a certain area, i will google the info first before asking.

Sorry Veruca, but you are kinda being snatchy here...

My God woman! If you don't like her question, there is a back button for your browser. Please, learn to click it! NO ONE forces you to answer it.
(Sorry for the sarcasm.. But that's pretty much how you replied to the op...)

People here ask all sorts of questions that could EASILY be answered by Google. We ask questions about recipes, woman issues, sex, husbands, clothing brand preferences, makeup.... The list goes on and on. We use this site for questions like this, because we want personal opinions and information from people who have been there. Besides, not everything is on Google. In my hometown, there is an AWESOME hill where people love to go tubing... Bit it is not going to show up online because it is just a random hill. Only locals know about it.

Anyway, DM, I have no clue where to go tubing in your area. Sorry. You might have better luck though if when you post questions about local searches, you check the box that says, "is this question specific to a local area?"

Breckenridge Colorado has a nice free public park that you can go snow tubing on - check it out. But I think Breckenridge might be kind of pricy this time of year because of all the ski lifts!
