I started using skin care products, since my teens.

Just start.... go to a skin care counter... and ask them questions... and then, see which one you like best. Then try it.

Should have started yesteraday : ) .... seriously though moisturizer with sun block is a must. As far as product, trial an error. What works for some people does not always work for others. I find that using Clinque - youth surge during the day and repair wear at night with All About eyes for my eyes during the day and the repair wair for eyes at night works the best. I do not use their cleansing products - I use Aveeno scrub pads and Nutragena toner. I find they keep my skin cleaner. My twin sister uses some Canadian brand I think, but I know it is different.

NOW. If you are like many people and go out in the sun at all, you should be caring for your skin now. My mom taught me how to care for my skin, as well as the importance, back when I was 15. I H. you are using a daily moisturizer with SPF in it especially if you have a fair complexion.
I highly recommend Mary Kay's Time Wise products. I've been using these anti-wrinkle facial soap, moisturizer, SPF day lotion and night solution for almost 2 years now, and I'm over 30...just barely ;) Wish I knew about these products sooner!
You can order it online in a travel size kit to try it out. That's how I get it. And, no, I don't sell it. Just passing on what works for me. Oh! And I love the Firming Eye Cream; apply it in the am and pm.
I'll tell you something. People always say I look younger than I actually am. I love it! Good luck finding what works best for you and your big sis!

hi you should have been using the for years now. think of all the times you laid out in the sun, went swimming etc. that damages your skin and there are so many inviromental factors. any damage that goes on now will affect your wrikles later. i never used skin products and i am 50 today and i look it. big dollars doesn't make it a better lotion. blessing R..

I reommend products that you would feel safe eating, because they do get absorbed through your skin into your bloodstream. Organic products. Coconut oil based is good.

It is never to early to start taking care of your skin. Arbonne are the best products, they are made from only Natural Herbs and Botancials and they have products that take you from birth to 100. The baby products are awesome and can even be used by those with very sensative skin, rosacea and eczema. We have products for Acne Prone Skin, dry skin to aging skin. I would love to send you a free sample of our anti aging skin care products and more info. If you send a private reply I will give you my contact information.

You are never too young to take care of your skin...I wish I had started sooner. You probably don't need products for wrinkles yet but you do need to use good products to take care of your skin properly.

I use Sei Bella products...they are made by Melaleuca. Happy to share info if you want to know more.

I say you should start as young as 20. They say the aging starts early and doesn't show until later so you want to make sure you are using a good moisturizer everyday and MAKE SURE no matter what use sunscreen daily! Don't use your fingers to put on your makeup b/c no matter how gently, it pulls on your skin around your eyes, use a sponge to put on makeup and you should be good. Always wear sunglasses too so you don't squint b/c that is where the crows feet happen to your eyes.

Wow, you received so many responses! But I want to chime in anyway :)

I've been caring for and moisturizing my skin with anti-aging "everything" since I was 18. I'm now 35. I'm not sure when I'll know if it's working or not ;)

So, start now, since you cannot start yesterday :) The best advice, as many others have said, is using SPF. That's the key. The sun ages you (as does poor diet) so buy a big 'ol sun hat and lather up.

Good luck to you and your sis!

ASAP! A good way to know what you need and when is to look at the older women in your family and see how they are aging. Find a moisturizer that has sunscreen and is right for your skin. I only use the Nutriste Ultra Lift on my neck, under eyes and forehead and use a regular moisturizer everywhere else. There are so many products out there, so I'm sure there are some that will work for you! Don't stop at your face, make sure to moisturize everywhere, and you can use wrinkle cream on your hands too!

You should both be using skin care products for cleansing and moisturizing definitely. Wrinkles are caused by the under layers of skin drying and losing elasticity. Skin Supplements with sunscreen would be perfect at this time as well. Don't forget your hands, neck and arms all year long. Total body skin care is a must. I recommend Mary Kay Cosmetics for results, price and simplisity. I am also an Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and would love to be a Personal Consultant for both of you. www.marykay.com/pmarion
I have been in business and loving it for 16 years. I am looking for people to do what I do. Have a Blessed and Terrific Thursday.

You really should start as young as possible. It will keep your skin looking younger. I personally love Mary Kay's Timewise Miracle Set. My skin feels great, and I get compliments on how smooth and radiant it looks.
