I buy Beauticontrol products. Their skincare is phenomenal. I use the cleansing regimine Skinlogics line and so does my mother. I use the acne formula and she uses the Platinum formula for dry skin and skin that acts over 40. The company calls those products maintenance products.
Then as far a prevention products and repair products go those are good as well, but I just use the moisturizing cremes around my eyes. I don't have to money for the whole sha-bang, but I've been told it is very good...especially the new anti-aging serums and cremes.
I joined as a consultant to get the products. I don't do parties unless a friend really wants one....this company sets up stations with products for guests to try on their own. That's the party.
At any rate, I more or less just contact my clients when their products are on sale. (by that I mean the company is offering me a sale and I pass it on to my clients). I do about $100 to $200 in sales each month. Just enough to get my skincare and the makeup I like.
So I would do some research on Beauticontrol or just skincare by googling something like "best skincare products" or "best rated skincare companies". I'm sure Beauticontrol will show up. It really is pretty affordable as long as you stick to skincare...their spa products are expensive...I don't promote those much.
You can shop direct through Beauticontrol.com and it will direct you to a consultant nearby you. Or I think you can just buy direct and they will ship it to you.
I don't pay to have my own site. I just order for my clients. My clients contact me at the first of the month if they think they are needing something and I place an order around the second week of the month. I only charge $1 to $2 for shipping and pass on any sales that come up. I use email to shoot my clients the specials each month and then they contact me before the second week. My first order of the month is always expensive because the company charges me $9 to ship. So the more people I have order the better because I don't have to eat so much in shipping charges.
Okay so that's that. I hope that helps. I was also a late bloomer when it came to skincare. As a matter of fact, I wasn't real sure how to even be a girl until I had a daughter and then signing up with Beauticontrol really educated me.
PS This month it only costs $99 to sign up. You get over $250 in product...skincare set, repair products, spa products, makeup and so on. I think you can join directly through the company if you choose. I don't believe you have to join under someone. Doesn't matter though if you did join under someone. If they don't place orders of $400 or more a month then they don't get any residuals from you.
So again there it is. Good luck!!
Believe me this stuff is counter quality materials for a fraction of the costs. Email me if you want to know more about any particular product. I can let you know if it is worth the money or not. And even direct you to something over the counter that might be better.
