Has anyone used it with their preschooler? I've gotten yet another runny nose notice when I picked my son up from preschool today. As always they say he played fine, great behavior, just this time his nose was out of control and not just running clear...definitely yellowish.

Seriously, I don't send my kid to preschool sick. I have an 18 month old who has serious problems with respiratory issues when he gets sick, so I understand the concern about sending your kids to school sick. I'm at a loss as what to do. His nose really doesn't run at home, like it does at school. After he is upset and crying, sometimes his nose will run a little bit , but he's fine the rest of the day. He does appear congested in the am, and he does have a lingering junky cough, so there is some type of post nasal drip going on. But he acts fine. I just don't get it.

I feel bad because I'm sending him to school thinking his healthy and obviously when I pick him up his nose is running. I have him blow, I do the nasal wash etc before when he first wakes up and there is nothing, and its not running that much during the week or day before either, so I send him. Why wouldn't I? Especially when he's more than acting fine, no fever and thoroughly excited to see his teachers and friends?

I tried OTC allergies meds, and they so make him bounce off the wall and I'm not interested in giving that to him unless I know for sure its allergies. I also don't want to look like a crazy MOM bringing my kid to the doctors when he clearly is acting fine (well other than the constant runny nose)

I've read some really great reviews about this product called Sinupret, and was curious if anyone has used it? I bought it anyway and was thinking of scheduling an appointment with his Pediatrician to see if it was worth trying and to make sure everything else was fine since this has been going on for months now. But thought I'd see if anyone as any other advice or reviews on this product.! Suggestions?

Maybe something at school is triggering his runny nose. Or the time of year.
Dust, pollen, etc.
It is Spring now. Things are in bloom and plants a growin' and sprouting etc.

Some people are just that way. I was as a child and sometimes even now.
Especially on windy days. My nose runs.
But it does not bother me. I only use Claritin if/when I need to.
As for 'allergies'... well, I don't take anything for it. I know what triggers my nose and watery eyes. Its just the air or what is in the air, or dust.

I used it and saw no change in my kids. My Ped wasn't familiar with it. Mine both have allergies and if that's the case I would try a pediatric allergist as they can really target a treatment for each individual child. Good luck!

I bought a few bottles of it and it says to take it for 7 days which by then the typical cold is usually better by anyway. I didn't see any improvement either. I haven't found anything to really dry up the boogers :( I wish I had.

I have nothing but good things to say about this product. I'm getting over a sinus infection with a script of a Z pack and this has helped my post nasal drip couch SO much. I have used it on my sons ages 4 and 6 and hubby as well. Works well to loosen thick congestion for sure!
