Sides

Ok don’t laugh but do you notice that your “side” of things is cleaner than your spouse? I was cleaning up over the weekend and noticed my husband had a few things on “my side” of the dresser. I have my jewelry box and an ultrasound photo that I keep and that’s it! So I promptly put his stuff in his basket on “his side” of the dresser. Our nightstands& bathroom sink are this way too! Mine neat and tidy, his has are full of junk.

What can I do next?

I'm opposite. I'm more cluttered than hubby. But he loves me anyway lol :-)

my sides are a mess, my closet side is a mess, my sink is a mess, my side table next to my chair is a mess, my side of the bed is a mess...his are nice and tidy and clean! He tries to clean up my stuff but it freaks me out! Lol! I shouldn't say mine are a "mess", I just have more stuff and he's more of a minimalist. I'm working on it tho! =)

Well, I'm pretty much the keeper of all sides here! So no glaring differences. My husband does have a higher tolerance for having something SIT somewhere for longer than I do.....

Teehehe, yes little piles of accumulation follow him around the house.

Mostly it doesn't bother me, but when it spreads to the kitchen counter or island where I COOK, that's where I have to draw the line.

Once I teasingly told him I can tell exactly where and for how long he's been all day in various places in the house.

And in all seriousness he said, Well I'd clean it up, but I don't know where you want me to put it!

:)

No way... Everything I have migrates to his side. It starts on my side, gradually gets pushed to the middle, and ultimately invades the entire vanity (dresser, bed, you name it!). I wish I could be as disciplined with my stuff as he is.
