I have a preschool age child and a child who attends full day school with the district this fall. I like to schedule their visits together at the same time. Problem is my dentist will not schedule my 3 yr old daughter in the afternoon because she is under 6. So I either have to pull my older child out of school to go in the morning or make two separate visits for my kids.
Seems a lot of dentists in the area have this goofy rule of not allowing preschoolers to be seen in the afternoon. I am aware that dental visits are an excused absence as far as the school district is concerned but was wondering if anyone knew any dentists in the naperville area that will allow preschool aged kids to have afternoon appointments.
My kids go to Wheatland Dental (Dr. Yasdi, she is awesome) and I have never encountered this issue. They are in Naperville right near Caputo's on Rte 59.
I have a name of a wonderful dentist. Her office just got the 'Small Business of Year' Award from the Naperville Chamber of Commerce.
Lydia Sosenko is warm, professional, great listener( which means that she'll listen to your concerns about the funky schedule the other dentist has at his office), and LOVES her job. She and her staff are wonderful with kids. I highly recommend her for your family.

Both of my children go to Naperville Dental Specialists ###-###-####)- they are located right above Hugo's Frog Bar in downtown Naperville.
They are awesome with kids and I can always get them seen at the same time, if need be. No rules on afternoon/morning appt times for preschoolers.
Very friendly staff (huge staff) and the kids actually enjoy going.
My children go to Two Rivers Dental, it's in Bolingbook on boughton road their # is ###-###-####... I have always scheduled appointments for all 3 of my children at the sametime, my youngest too thats 3 years old! I love it there, they are wonderful with children too! Give them a try! I have been taking my kid's there for the past 6 year's! Good Luck!
