Do not be worried. try a thing called a diaper doubler...
they are amazing...they look like a maxi pad.. and fit right into the diaper...
My son has woken up the past two nights completely soaking wet...right through his diaper! He's 11 months and weighs 22 pounds. Currently I have him in a size 3 diaper (Pampers) and he seems to be fine during the day, although I have noticed that he's wetting a lot more than usual. Should I be worried about him wetting so much during the night or is this normal??? We usually feed him table foods around 6 & then follow-up with a bottle about an hour later and then he goes to bed...from about 7:30 pm to 6:30 the next morning. I know that's a long time to be in the same diaper, but he hasn't had a problem with this until recently!!! Please help!! Thanks!!

Hi T.,
Something that worked for my son overnight was a place a thick inexpensive maxi pad in the front of the diaper at night so you don't have to purchase two different kinds. Sounds funny at first, but works like a charm!
Some babies are "heavy wetters" at night. We had the same issue with our daughter. We use a "night time diaper", and that solved the problem. Pampers Baby Dry worked for us ;-)
both of my kids started with that problem around the same age, it's TOTALLY normal, don't be alarmed. get some huggies overnites and those should do it for you.
It's Totally normal, Don't worry. That's around the age my youngest started soaking through his diaper at night. Try Huggies Overnights which REALLY help my son.
Good Luck and I hope this helps.

He's holding it and then releasing a lot at one time - the first step (other than walking) to potty training - those diapers don't seem to be able to handle that.
Watch what's going in - in terms of fluids or excessive thirst. Excessive thirst (or suddenly increased thirst not related to sweating) can be a sign of juvenille diabetes - but what you're describing sounds like a diaper issue.

Try a nighttime diaper. Also, if he is going to bed that early, I'd change him at about 10pm or before you go to bed. That's what I did with mine and they usually went right back to sleep. However, I hear all kids don't do that. Some wake up if you bother them after they've gone to bed. I was lucky! :-)
The overnights worked for my little one. He is now 2 and is in the middle of potty training so I am not using them anymore, but I did use them for about 6 mos. Good luck.

Try Huggies Overnights. We have always done the Overnights one size larger than our daytime diapers too. It seems to help a lot.
I second the "Overnights." Also you could try size 4 of the Pampers; the bigger surface area should be able help absorb so much wetness at night.
My suggestion would be to try a size 4 diaper. My daughter just turned 1. She's about his size and wearing a size 4. From my experience, once the diapers start leaking like that, it's time to move to the next size. Also, as everyone else has said, huggies overnights are great.
