Also, as of now, my pain is only located under right breast bone, deep insde. Any help, would b very much appreciated. Thank you.

My husband had shingles and said it was the worst pain he ever had in his life! A pharmacist recommended dabbing Maalox (plain) on the blisters and it did help with the pain. Just wanted to mention in case the blisters get painful.
Hope you feel better fast!
MISERABLE!!! I'm so sorry, shingles is awful. Typically, shingles occurs on one side of the body. It is a nerve thing and any suppression of immune system, extreme stress, etc. can cause it. Did your doctor prescribe anything for the pain? Sometimes they will do that... Other than that, I think that you pretty much just have to ride it out. So sorry!
I've had Shingles twice in my adult life - once in my early 20's and once in my early 40's. They told me they are not really sure what causes the Shingles outbreaks, but stress is most likely a factor, which explains my outbreaks (just after graduating college and just after a very traumatic and trying year for our family). It is a deep pain, so unfortunately that is normal. Also, the blisters can itch as well as hurt. The medication can lessen the severity and time, but it is not a guarantee (the last time I had them I needed 2 rounds of the medication before it started to clear up). I went back and insisted on a 2nd round of meds.
Anyone who has had Chicken Pox can get Shingles. Once you have had Chicken Pox, the virus lays dormant in your system (which is why you can never get the Chicken Pox again) and Shingles can flair up at any time. If you are prone to outbreaks, there is a vaccine for Shingles, but it is expensive and most insurance companies will not pay for it unless you are over the age of 65 since Shingles outbreaks happen mostly in the elderly and can be especially debilitating to them.
Sorry you are going thru this :-((, but take it easy, use the medication and it will be gone in no time.
My mom had shingles. Super painful! Anyone who has ever had chicken pox can get shingles, so it is fairly common. Mostly it's older people who get it, but even kids can get it. Did your doctor give you Acyclovir? That will help lessen the outbreak. For my mom, it lasted about a month BUT for about a year afterward, her immune system was very compromised and she caught every little cold that came along. Take care of yourself and give yourself time to rest as much as possible.
Yup, that's where they tend to show up. Right where bra straps go. SOOOO painful until the medication kicks in. Be sure to take ALL of it!
Good luck.
S. - I am SO sorry! I just had shingles a few months ago, when I was 8 months pregnant. It was one of the most painful things I ever went through. I thought that only older people got it, but I'm only 28, so I guess that's not true. They told me to avoid anyone who hasn't had chickenpox yet, but other than that it is not contagious. The only thing that really helped ease the pain, if you can even call it helped, was aloe gel. The kind you use for sunburn. Good luck!
