Hi Mommas,

My daughter turns 15 next month and instead of a traditional cotillion, I am taking her on a weekend trip for her special day. We want to go somewhere the weather will be warm. I am looking at Florida but not sure which city. I want to stay away from the adult night life as I will also be taking my 4 year old. I rather have something family friendly and fun. Shes been to Disney before so I didn't want to go there again.

I welcome your suggestions! TIA

If you want something off the beaten path, look along the middle of the Gulf Coast.

Otherwise... yes to Universal!

The Tampa area might be nice. There is a Busch Gardens and Winter the dolphin is in Clearwater.

We really liked Myrtle Beach, SC and are hoping to go back some day.

Universal in Florida was lots of fun, and if she is a fan or Harry potter she will love the new attraction there.

If you want relaxing, go to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It's wonderful there and I can't wait to go back. We went to Myrtle Beach, SC last summer and are going again just after Christmas - lots of family fun there as well.

There is night life everywhere, so you just stay away from it if you aren't interested.
