My husband had this done when I was pregnant with my third child. It is very easy. I believe it is an in office procedure. Small 1 in. incission, a couple days on the couch with movies. This doctor is right next to Edwards Hospital in Naperville...he was great. Best Wishes!

I work at dreyer medical clinic in aurora.I work in the adjacent dept to urology. there is an excellent dr.there named dr.smith. He did my husbands vasectomy and is a very good and kind dr. the number to dreyer is ###-###-#### to make an appt. It is done in the office as an outpt. good luck

My husband had his done through the Vasectomy Clinics of America (you can google them on-line) in Naperville. They are the ones who advertise no needles. I know it seems weird going through a place that advertises on the radio, but honestly it was wonderful! My husband had no pain whatsoever! There was no need for tylenol, frozen peas, nothing!! My brother did it through a urologist with DuPage Medical Group and felt like he was kicked in the privates for three days and had to sit with a frozen bag of peas for two days. Check them out!

Dr. Plante (out of Delnor) is highly recommended by our dr and performed my husband's. Good luck!
