If you can find a girl sesame street brand from target(we have elmo) those undies were unusally tight. They have really tight elastic so that might work for her small butt.
Does anyone know where I can get some little girl panties in something smaller than a 2T? My daughter is ready for the transition and she is still wearing 12 mo bottoms so the 2T undies are entirely too big. Please don't make suggestions for places to check, I have already done that. Do you know where I can get small undies????

My son was/is little and trained before he was 2, so he was still wearing 12 month size clothes. I found that many of the boys undies were a lot smaller than the girls. They were also a nicer, thicker cotton. My daughter loved Thomas and they didn't make ones for girls, so she wore the boy ones! That's how I realized they were cut a lot smaller. So, it's worth looking at the boys ones and seeing if they might do. They may look funny to some, but who cares? And really, my little girl looked awfully cute in the boy ones!
I feel your pain! I bought two packages of undies at Wal-Mart both packages said 2T-3T. I looked for smaller, but that was all they had. One package had HUGE undies in it, the other had nice tiny panties that fit a 18mo. butt really nicely! The were Hanes, Disney Princess (I looked at the tags last night for you)
I had the same issue with my tiny little girl. I now just open a bunch of packages in the store until I find little ones. (I don't rip up the packages, they have resealable sticky on one end) My daughter is now 3 1/2 and I can finally put the undies from the first package I bought on her.
Good Luck!
Dillards!!!! My daughter is very tiny and has been wearing 'saggy' panties for quite some time!LOL! I finally found some really cute panties at Dillards. They are usually on top of the clothing racks in baskets in the girls section(not infants) You might just try asking the women that work there. They are size xxs/3 They are very stylish, have satin trim and waist and I have to say are very cute! I just bought this size for my daughter's birthday and they are a little small on her-she can still wear 12 months and even 6-9 month pants, so I assure you that these should work for you. Let me know if you have any questions.
I don't know how sewing savvy you are but I had two possible thoughts of what you could do.
1. Look for a pattern and sew some for her in the size you need.
or
2. Just take some of the 2T and modify them the best you can to the smaller size you need.
Not the most ideal solution but something that could be considered.
Good luck and God bless!
I have never found any "panties" smaller than 2, but they do make "training pants" (the thicker cotton kind). They have them at Target in the baby section. I have bought them in 18mos & I think in 12mos as well. They are near the baby layette stuff, socks etc.
I had the same problem since my son was wearing 12 month bottoms when he started potty training. I never found any 12mo but I did find 18mo training pants (like panties but thicker) at walmart. They were small enough to work for him. Good luck!
I'm not sure if you have found any undies yet but just wanted to let you know that I bought some "Elmo" panties at Target that were marked 2t-3t, the size my 2yr old daughter wears and they are tight on her where as the other packs of 2t-3t underwear are big. So I think that brand (can't remember) might run small - really small. If you would like any more info please feel free to contact me by my email ____@____.com if you would like I have these that don't fit her they are too tight they have been washed but not worn and by looking at them I think they might fit or atleast close. It was an 8pk I believe - had elmo on them , white, blue, also Zoie was on one pair if that helps you out to know which ones. Good luck

I'm sorry that I don't know where you can find any undies that are smaller, but you may try shrinking the 2T's in the washer/dryer (they seem to do that naturally, anyway). I also usually buy them several sizes larger than my kids normally wear so they can learn to help pull them off and on without a struggle. If they fit perfectly it's harder for them to do that and they get frustrated. Good luck with your search!
