Of course it is about to get cold out and the fan on our furnace isn't kicking in. Is there a service in the Elmhurst, Bensenville, WoodDale, Itasca area where someone isn't going to try to sell us a new furnace? We need someone to come and take a look and help us get ready for winter!

They came today and found we had a faulty thermostat. thank you to all Moms who recommended their favorite heating services. My husband does hvac for a living prior military now works for the governement doing hvac servicing the va hospital if you would to email me i could give you his number and name.we are close to the schaumburg area but her works not far from the city not sure where you are located.
I have found Alan (or Allen?) Heating in Elmhurst to be very fair in the service department. We had a 40+ year old furnace that they would service almost yearly when I wasn't ready to buy a new one. Almost everyone else I had asked to come told me it was too old and they couldn't get the parts and wanted to sell me a new one. They are however on the extremely high side when it comes to sales of a new furnace. I finally broke down and bought a new one, not from them, but I would totally recommend them for service.
We've used Four Seasons heating and cooling a couple times and recommended them to friends. I think they are fair and honest. Not sure where they travel.
S. - my in-laws and now us (about a total of 20 years of business for this company) use West Suburban Heating & Air Inc. in Roselle ###-###-####). Totally reliable and well worth the reasonable coat. They are always on time - even early most times. Ask for Tim to service your HVAC. We are beyond happy with this company.
