I'm looking for a professional, caring Pediatric Dentist for my two year-old daughter. The dentist has to participate in MetLife's Preferred Dentist Program. I went onto MetLife's website and narrowed my search down to three dentists who aren't affiliated with big chains (i.e. Monarch Dental, South Texas Dental, etc.). Have any of you had experiences with the following three dentists/offices?
1. Dr. Tim Brister – Texas Pediatric Dentistry (McKinney)
2. Kids Dental Plano (located on Dallas Pkwy.)
3. Dr. Brian Hochstein (Murphy)
Or, if you have a great Pediatric Dentist who accepts MetLife, please let me know! Any help you ladies can offer is much appreciated! Thanks!
Both of my kids see Dr. Tim (Brister) and we really like him. They do a great job and my children actually don't mind going to the dentist. Dr. Tim and the staff are great with kids. I would recommend him.
Both my kids go to see Dr. Brister in McKinney. If you are looking for professional and caring then this is your place. I really enjoy everyone there...they are great with kids. My sons were hesitant when they went they first went there but they were made comfortable right away. They let me go back with my younger son so he could feel comfortable since he was so nervous. Love that they have Saturday hours once a month and the kids get a token to pick a little prize.
Best of all I like his loyalty to his clients. He is a newer business and works to build relationships. We were in network when we first took the kids there and he is now out of network with our insurance. They told us that since we were an existing client they would write off the difference. Another instance was when our insurance would not pay for a certain type of xrays for my older son, the office wrote off that also and stated they needed them anyway. It is rare these days to see a business like that.
Dr. Lisi in Allen is FANTASTIC!! She is great with the kids. I do not know if she accepts MetLife or not but it would be worth checking in to.

We have MetLife and go to Dr. Ryan at Grin Central. They just moved their offices right across from Willow Bend Mall. I know he wasn't on your list but we love him and several of our friends go to him as well. He also has an Orthodontist in the office...they may be sharing office space...I'm not sure.
My daughters have been going to Dr. Hochstein's office in Murphy for a couple years now. The youngest has not had any cavaties, but the older daughter has had five. I have been very happy with how well the staff and dentists took care of her. All procedures have gone very well and I would very much recommend this office.

Dr. Erik Harrington is AWESOME!!! I think we take metLife but not 100% percent sure, I'm a hygienist in his practice but I mainly work with the dentist that sees adults. I've worked with several pedo. practices & he is by far the best I've ever seen with the kids, & the pediatric staff is also great!super relaxing & they put the children at ease. www.hpdentist.com

My Children and I absolutely love both docs (Gough and Hunter) at Children's Dentistry in Allen. My oldest has been going there for 7 years and my youngest for 4. They do take Met Life and their office is fun, professional friendly staff, very thorough, etc.
We have enjoyed seeing Dr. Brister and have recommended him to other friends and they liked him also. The office staff is very friendly and sweet with the kids. Good luck.
We see Dr. Brister in McKinney and really like him. My daughter has gone every 6 mos. since turning 3. She is now 4 1/2 and is about to go for the 4th time. She's always does great even getting xrays. They have it set up very kid friendly.
I take my kids to kidssmile dentist in plano they are off dallas tollway. Not sure if they take metlife but they are great. The Dentist there is Dr. Hill. Shes great.
