Hi mamas! I am looking for an outdoor park/location that has great trees and/or other scenery that I can have my daughter's one-year photos taken. Can anyone suggest any locations? We live in McKinney, but would be willing to travel. Thanks so much!!
Prairie Creek Park in Richardson is a beautiful outdoor location. It has a great little waterfall that is perfect for pictures. Although after today's rain, it may not be so little! The park is located northwest of the 75/Campbell intersection just off of Collins, very close to Central Expressway.
Hi C., Bob Woodruff Park in Plano is gorgeous and so is Castle Hills. The trees are huge and there are a lot of them so it will make a great backdrop! Hope that helps! Blessings, J.
We had a photo session at St. Andrew's Methodist in Plano. They have a beautiful park like setting.
The Dallas Arboretum, on White Rock Lake. More photo locations/ops than you could imagine!!
St. Andrew United Methodist Church (near Tollway/Plano Pkway) is awesome- they have 2 areas that are beautiful and a huge cross near a pond that's beautiful. My sister in law is a photographer and she does shoots there all the time. Also, down in Highland Park - Versailles Park - is another favorite spot.
i second Prairie Creek Park in Richardson. Beautiful but be prepared to wait your turn. Sometimes there is a line.

Turtle Creek down in Dallas is a great place to go! My husband and I took our engagement pictures down there several years ago and they turned out really good.
