Dr. Wai is a man, but he is very sensitive and makes you feel extremely comfortable in his care. Anyone I have ever recommended him too has thanked me profusely. He is in the same office as Dr. Flowers too.
Good Luck!!

I am looking for a nice and thorough OBGYN that is affiliated with Baylor grapevine or North Hills Hospitals. I thought I found one, Dr. Julia Flowers...Harvard grad, Best OBGYN Southlake, but she is booked until 2011! I just want someone who really knows what they are doing and nice, preferably a female. Thanks for your help.

Dr Doreen Moser and her entire staff are female and are located within Baylor Grapevine. Their office number is ###-###-####. Good Luck! I know how sensitive a subject this can be and you want someone you are completely comfortable with.
Dr. Rebecca Robert was mine and I loved her. Delivered both of my kids and actually her husband is our Pediatrician. She is on the first floor of Baylor Grapevine as soon as you walk in, straight ahead. Her husband is in the Professional Bld. right next door on the first floor.
I did call to get an annual scheduled with her and she is booked out until Dec! Best thing to do is get an appt. set and then go from there.
Dr. Mickey Hooper in Keller. She also has an office in the Baylor Women's Hospital that just opened. I am not sure if she is accepting new patients, so you might want to check... but she is a great doctor... gentle and very sweet. Phone number is ###-###-####.

Rebecca Roberts in Grapevine is great. She is in practice with 2 others doctors - Comprehensive Women's Healthcare I think is the name of the clinic. They are associated with Baylor Grapevine.
I was told the same thing about Dr Flowers - 2011. That is ridiculous - isn't it? Dr Courtney Walters is really great and also Dr Wai. I have several friends who are Labor and Delivery nurses at Baylor Grapevine. I trust their judgement wholeheartedly and they said that Dr Walters and Dr Wai are the best. I have seen Dr Walters and she is a great doctor and listens really well. FYI - I would not personally recommend Dr Moser. She was ALWAYS in hurry, never answered my questions, never even looked up from the counter while she was writing. She was in and out, just like that. She didn't listen to what it was I really wanted and she kept disappearing for hours on end during the labor process even when my daughter was in fetal distress. So, I would not recommend her. It was a very unpleasant experience.
Here's another vote for Dr. Allen. In addition to his Booth Calloway location, he also has an office on Basswood, just off of Denton Hwy. I am past the baby stage now, so I usually see Marie for most of my visits, but I've been very pleased with the practice.
2011!!! Wow, I started off the first time with a lady and got such bad care. I had some problems and then when I got there they had messed up my appointment and had to reschedule, etc. I then went to Dr Allen and LOVED HIM, I felt like my quality of care was more important than the gender of my dr. For my next pregnancy thought my insurance changed and I had to see Dr Moser and I think I made a huge mistake, I should have stayed with Dr Allen. When I started with her she had a great midwife, unfortunately she left halfway through and her next 2 werent that experienced. Her staff was nice but she deferred mostly to her less experienced NP and they were not even close to knowing what Marie at Dr Allens knows.
I also highly recommend Dr. Patrick Allen. He won Dr. of the year for North Hills Medical Center. I have ALWAYS felt comfortable with him and his staff. I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks and my OB/GYN had quit seeing OB patients when I got pregnant again 4 months later. I was devastated. Dr. Patrick Allen was one of the names I was given. I meet with Marie the Nurse practitioner for over 1 1/2 hours during my initial visit. She went over my medical history. Since I had a miscarriage so late, Dr. Allen sent me to a specialist (high-risk OB) for several visits just to make sure the baby was developing normally. He and his staff are awesome!!! He has a North Richland Hills office right by North Hills Hospital and a North Fort Worth/Keller office.
Hi .. She may be a great Doctor but she does not seem to be a good business women ... Any Doctor who has a practice and who is accepting new patients should have time set aside for new pt openings if she can't do that she needs to say no longer accepting new pts ... I have found that in the Keller Grapevine Southlake this seems to be the norm among Doctors .. and it is not good business sense :)
Dr. Michael White is with North Texas Women's Healthcare with a few other doctors. They have offices in Keller and Grapevine. The Grapevine office is at Baylor Grapevine right below the labor and delivery wing of the hospital. I love him and he is really easy to relate to even though he is a man. Good luck.
I highly recommend Dr. Patrick Allen. He is located in the professional building by North Hills Hospital. I prefer female doctors as well, however, he was better than any of the female doctors I have seen in the area.
I recently moved to the Grapevine area and switched OBGYN to Dr. Erica Swegler. She is located in the professional building next to Baylor Grapevine. She is very talented as well. The only downside is that you see her PA (also female) for routine GYN visits. Good Luck.
I used Dr Charles Safely whos office is next door to North Hills Hospital. My pregnancy turned out to be complicated and difficult but he was always prepared for what came. And he did visit me everyday of the 28 days I was in the hospital before delivery. I saw several doctors while in the hospital and Dr Allen assisted in my delivery and hysterectomy and I liked him as well. They both agreed to come in at the last minute to delivery me early when they could have made me wait another week.
I love my OBGYN. She is affliated with North Hills. She got married and I can't remember her new last name. She looks and acts exactly like Miranda on Grey's Anatomy.

Dr. Courtney Walters in Grapevine is wonderful-I go to her for gyn and my daughter is going for prenatal. I have recommended her to others who also love her.
Dr. Wait for sure. He's in Dr. Flowers practice but way better , IMO.
I know you prefer a female, and that is understandable. My doctor is part of the same practice as Dr. Flowers. His name is Robert Wai, and he is wonderful. I love that whole staff, and I think you will also. Dr. Wai was also voted best OB/GYN in Southlake one year. You can do a search, and you will find some information on him. There is always a nurse in the office with you when you get your exam. I hope this helps!!!
