I actually handle Medicare products and placing people with doctors. Depends on if he has a supplement or is on a replacement plan. Most doctors only take one or the other. Tell me what he has and what side of Arlington he lives and I will be happy to tell you of a doctor.

I suggest going to JPS Health Clinic on Main street off of Cooper in Arlington. Dr Cintron is the Doctor I recommend. My mother goes to him. He is the best doctor I have ever seen. My mother has connective tissue disease along with numerous other health issues and this is the first doctor that we have found that actually listens to her and really cares how she is doing. My mother is hard of hearing & wears a hearing aid but doesn't always understand what is being said to her. She has a tendency to just nod & say yes or ok to whatever is being said to her and he knows this & has learned to make sure she understands & takes the time to explain everything to her. He is the most professional, caring doctor I have ever met. He also takes medicare. Check him out. You will be glad you did.

I don't know of a doctor to recommend for your father, but I do have a wonderful pediatrician that my son goes to. If you need a pediatrician, just let me know and I will be happy to give you her information. :)

I go to Dr. George Anagnostis, 1300 S. Fielder Rd, Arl, ###-###-####. I really like the quick effecient way his office is run. Monday I went in at 2:30, filled out paperwork, saw the doctor, got EKG, blood for lab test, 3 xrays, talked with the doctor again and was out the door at 3:21. Was my first time to see him but I was impressed. I used to work for a doctor and no mattered what we attendants did we could not keep that man on a schedule. Good luck.

Dr. Pullium is my mom's daughter and he is very good and thorough. He takes Medicare and Secure Horizon's. He's located at the Green Oaks Clinic right behind Kohl's on S. Cooper.

Hi C., I'm not sure what part of Arlington you live in, but for me, sometimes location doesn't matter when it comes to a good doctor. I would highly recommend Dr Jim Anagnostis who is with Family Healthcare Associates on Fielder Rd. He is great. He also has a brother George, but I've not been real impressed with him the times I've seen him. Dr. Jim is kind and very thorough. I'm just not sure about the medicare part. HTH!

I would love to second the recommendation of Dr. George Anagnostis with Family Healthcare Associates. However, he does not accept Medicare. It seems that this is practice wide. Dr. George is a great doctor and my kids and I love him. His brother Dr. Jim is pretty great, too. Too bad Medicare is not an option there. Below is a link to show what insurance plans they do accept.

Good luck to you. I hope you find a great doctor for your father-in-law.

I would highly recommend Dr. Edwin Duppstadt, his phone # is ###-###-####. My father was visiting me last month and ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks. Since my father did not have a local physician Dr. Duppstadt was assigned to him. He was so good with my entire family, he took time to really explain things to us and made sure we were all comfortable with what was going on. When it was time to leave my Dad felt like he had not only gained a doctor but made a friend. I haven't been too happy with my doctor and I have decided that I will be moving over to Dr. Duppstadt myself.

My husband and I go to Family HealthCare Associates. I believe they have 3 clinics in Arlington and 1 in Mansfield. Maybe more. I have seen several of the doctors in the clinic by my house ###-###-####)and have been happy with each doctor I saw. My husband (who thinks doctors are the enemy) really likes Dr George and won't see anyone, but him. You might also try www.MCNT.com for additional internists in Arlington.
I hope this helps.
