Hi all,
I am moving to Austin this Tuesday and I am looking to meet other moms of newborns and infants. I know hardly anyone in the area and want to start getting out with my little one. I'm looking for other like-minded moms or mom's groups. You can read about me below, but other than that, I'm coming here from California (the Bay Area to be exact), and I'm a typical California agnostic left-winger :) I have been a licensed psychotherapist for about three years and have closed down my practice in CA and am taking a break to stay home with my son for a little while. I love all things crafty, including sewing, knitting, jewelry making, refinishing furniture, etc. I would love to meet some other eccentric, humorous, creative, open-minded mommies...thanks!

Hi! I moved here not too long ago as well. I live in north austin at The Domain. I have an week old little girl. Anyway I have found a good website I just joined a "new moms" group for North Austin. Go to Meetup.com and search for new moms westlake and you should find one for that area. If you need anything at all please let me know. I have been here for about a year and a half! Welcome. Oh by the way I am 31 and married for a year on August 1st so it seems we have a lot in common.

Welcome! I came from the bay area and was a MFT/artpsychotherapist. Now, I'm also a SAHM. I got involved in the moms club. You can look them up online and if you can't figure out which chapter is yours, call any chapter and they should help you find the right one. Good luck!
