Good day mamas!! Please let me know of any creative lunch ideas to pack for my 6 year old son. I think the typical sandwich/chips is going to get old very fast. Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

What can I do next?

If you search lunch ideas on here, you should come up with quite a few posts about lunch. Over the years I've read some very good ideas. Even people who have linked websites to look at.

I've got O. of those!
The 2nd week of 2nd grade, my son told me he didn't want sandwiches ever again--too boring!
Uh......OK.
Wraps, cheese, pepperoni, crackers, veggies & dip, fruit cups. And (with the use of his small thermos) meatballs & butter bread, soups, macaroni & cheese, small Healthy Choice entrees heated in the a.m. and packed in his thermos.
It's a nightmare! He never wants the same thing twice. Always looking for something new.
Luckily, he eats anything, so there ARE days he buys lunch--but it's a time thing--the kids only get about 10 minutes to eat when they buy.

I pack mine pizza, chicken nuggets, sandwiches rolled in tortillas, leftover chicken legs, ravioli and tortellini pasta, mac and cheese. These are our staples.

Have you tried hardboiled eggs with a little salt/pepper sprinkled into the bag theyre in? They're packed full of protein and easy to carry. Make sure to deshell them first.
There's nothing wrong with sandwiches as long as you change it up. My kid likes peanut butter & honey and he also likes tuna so I know he'll eat lunch if I pack one of those two kinds of sandwiches, along with chips, fruit, and a some cookies. That takes care of 2 days out of the week. THen I make the hardboiled eggs another day with some veggie sticks. Then I give him breakfast tacos another time (wrap it in two layers of tin foil to keep it warm as long as possible), with a bean/rice side. On Fridays, I let him buy his lunch in the cafeteria.

I've had a hard time with this, too, as my daughter is kind of a picky eater as far as main dishes go. Not a problem with snacks as much. For protein, she really likes hummus with tortillas/pita chips, and celery with PB. I also make the standard turkey and cheese sandwich, but also as a wrap in a tortilla. Also chunks of cheese with crackers, or soup with crackers or a roll. I'm still looking for more ideas myself, good luck!

My kids always loved when I would make a "Lunchables" type of lunch since they were too expensive to buy: cut up meat and cheese into squares, crackers, then some cut up fruit, etc. Also, meat, cheese, fruit, on toothpicks (they aren't too long to hurt themselves). It's fun for them to have something that nobody else has.
