Make sure you keep really good notes on your computer. It may get ugly and you will be very glad you have the notes. Keep a very detailed log! If you get to protective with your kids it looks bad in court. My daughter tried that because the babies father is a looser. The court said that was bad and they would give the father more time if she kept it up. One lady got her kid taken from her because she was trying to protect him from his father. So be careful to listen to your lawyer. It makes a difference if you get a good one. Make sure someone had used him/her with good results before you higher them. Also don't call them, send text messages. They charge allot for calls. Only communicate when you have allot to say they charge for everything. One thing one lawyer said, if you keep them from there dad to much when they get older they start thinking there dad is like superman and can do no harm. My sister found this out. Her X told the kids lies and the kids believed it. Now that her daughter is 13 she thinks this offal person is mr. wonderful. Good luck.
