Can anyone suggest a great general practice MD for our family. I'd prefer one in the Cumming/Alpharetta area however I'm willing to drive further if need be.

I've recently started going to North Fulton Family Medicine (www.nffm.md) and I've been very happy with them. They have offices in both Cumming and Alpharetta. All test results/lab work are posted on line for you to access with a PIN. Doctors also post messages to you there. Good communication.

We have a GREAT family doctor that we have been using for the past 9 months about. It is Dr. Gary Orris of Lanier Family Healthcare. He is located in the Vickery Village off of Post Rd. 3 miles down from Highway 9. He has treated my 5 year old son, 10 year old daughter, myself and my husband. We only have one more member to see him about! The phone number is ###-###-####. One time we knocked on the door at 5:15 because my son cut his hand and I was unsure if I would have to take him to the ER or not. They ended up opening up for us and taking care of him. He didn't need stitches but they could have taken care of it there. They also do IV's there which my husband has had to use! AND they have x-ray equipment. Dr. Orris travels to Augusta on the week-ends and works in the ER so it is nice to know he is experienced....

I go to Pediatric Associates of North Atlanta. I see Dr. Julian Gorvy and he is so great! The practice is right in the middle of the forum. I never have trouble getting appts or call backs. Everyone is super friendly and very helpful. Their number is ###-###-####. Hope this helps you
Hi, L.. I take my family to Dr. Malcolm Duloc in Cumming. I see Lisa Montpellier, his physicians assistant most of the time, by choice. She takes her time, is very knowledgeable, and truly cares. I really like Dr. Duloc too, but have a "connection" with Lisa. They're located on Hwy 20, on the northern part of town, near Sawnee Mtn. It's east of the health dept. and Ingles, up on the hill. I'm going blank on the name of the practice, but it makes it look like it's an emergency/walk in clinic, but they are mostly regular practitioners. Their number is ###-###-####. T. Moen
