Does anyone have a recommendation for a good GP in the Northwest Peoria area? I am looking for someone who doesn't have an unreasonable wait time for office visits and who is able to give good referrals to specialists. My husband suffers from migraines and is having some trouble with pain in his knee so he'd like to get started with a general checkup and go from there. Thanks!
I see Dr. William Caulderwood in Sun City West. He is located on Meeker. I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes. I have yet to see his office "busy". He was very caring and gentle. I do not know where you are in Peoria. That may be too far, but if not I would definitely recommend him.

I too am looking for a new doctor. I wanted to let you know that a GP is someone who graduated from medical school, but has not done any residency is a specialized program, like Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. So if you see a doctor with GP after their name, I would keep looking.

I've been seeing a great DO for the past 8+ years. He's located at 61st Avenue and Bell Road. Dr. John Lees, ###-###-####. Has his own practice, very down to earth, and always works us in. My husband, I and my mom all go to him and he's wonderful. Good luck!

I have had migraines in the past and I have gone to a good & clean place where I had acupunture done and wha-la my migraines have disappeared. But she did mention that she had good referals if a bio-cranial or acupunture didn't work for me.
