Seeking Good Colorist in or near Highland Park

I heard Gordon, at Gordon's Salon in Highland Park is very good. they were featured in a recent magazine about highland Park (I think it's called "Six-o-o-three-five" magazine) and that's how I learned about them. They use Aveda and all-natural products and are known to do natural-looking highlights. They don't do loud or crazy stuff.

I then asked on this website if anyone went to Gordon's salon, and someone replied that they did. She said ask for Gordon, and he does great highlights.

I haven't had the time to go check out that salon myself, but it sure sounds good from what I heard. Good luck and I'd love to hear if you liked Gordon or not.

Hi! I go to "M" Salon in Highland Park. Shelly Wright cuts and colors my hair and she is awesome! Excellent at both. I live in Libertyville and a few of my friends go to her as well. I often have people ask me who does my hair. I highly recommend her!

I used Kwan at Mario Tricoci in Old Orchard. I constantly got compliments from other hair professionals on how great my color looked. I would still be going to her but after having my daughter it was harder and harder to find 4 hours of time to travel back and forth to Skokie for my highlights.

Great advice from the other moms that responded. I say that because I am a little bias. I actually work at the Gordon salon on Roger Williams. We now have 2 locations, the other on central in Highland park. The Roger Williams location is considered the New Talent salon. All of the stylist at this location have been trained in school and then retrained by the Gordon educators. The central location is for master stylist and above and is a full spa.
