I am looking for a new housekeeper. Our current lady is very sweet and thoughtful, but barely speaks any english. I will attempt to communicate with her regarding the way I like things to look, and it is lost in interpretation. I hate to let her go, but I feel like I am just throwing that money away. I find myself cleaning after she leaves, just so my husband does not give me a hard time for the poor job that she has done. In my experience, the housekeepers that I have had, eventually become very complacent, and they begin to slack on the job. I look around and think about all the spots she misses- on obvious things- and think we need to start searching for someone new. we just hired a cleaning lady who did a wonderful job and charged us only 65 for our 2bedroom 2 bath- bi weekly in Garland.
Its her and another gal and they're pretty good! She's not with an agency so you dont have to bother with the extra fees. Our last lady was Mexican and only charged 50 but she moved and we've been trying to find someone just as good who didnt charge an arm and a leg.
