I highly recommend our contractor ... he works out of the North suburbs, but I know he has done jobs thoughout the Chicagoland area. I trust him in my home and around my children, he does great work and has branched out to do his own thing.

A person I like to refer to people is Doug ###-###-####. He has great prices and he does great work.

Employeed or otherwise, you won't get a "contractor" cheap. During the winter when work slows down for all construction you'll have a better chance of finding someone insured to do the work for you. I used a man named Nino Macias. He owns his own business (remodeling, electric, drywall, all of it)and does beautiful work. I can recommend him and I'm sure he has 1000 reccommendations.
