Seeking Comforts in New Tampa

I'm S. mom to two girls, 4 1/2 and 8 months. I am a consultant with Celebrations with Lillian Vernon and can help you find consultants with most other Direct sales companies. I am in Land O'Lakes, but originally from South Jersey, and you definately won't find Maryland crab cakes here, I've tried for the last 12 years I've been here! Other than that I love it though.
Don't forget to get your daughter registered for school, my sister is in Hillsborough and they start Aug 8th! Also, you can check out the library for different groups and activities, I believe the closest one is on Cross Creek (go east at the traffic light by the publix shopping center just north of Hunters Green) I use to live in Peeble Creek, but didn't have kids when I lived there. Hi J.. I live just up the road from you in Live Oak. I'd love to get to a Tastefully Simple party and meet some new people. I moved here almost a year ago and still struggle with finding other working Moms to hang out with - between work and home (husband and a 2 year old), it's crazy. J. I am an LC who does not live far away from MacDill. I would suggest checking out the local YMCA near Arbor Green because they have after school programs. If your kids are not registered for school, please hurry. Public School starts in early August! Private schools are mid-late August, sometimes Sept. If you can take lunchs from work, I could meet up with you. I have lived in Tampa since 1979, and could provide a lot of info. -- D. Albert
