My son goes to a La petite in south county, he loves it there, they work really well with him. He has been to two daycares befor this and this is the only one we are both happy with!
I am still looking for a daycare for my son. My sitter has officially given me notice. Well it's my aunt that watches him and her mom is sick so it is too hard for her to watch him, her mom and take care of her kids as well. Anyway...I was looking into LaPetite Academy. I was wondering if anyone has taken their children there or knows of anyone there. I am hesitant at taking him to a daycare at all. I am a single mom and don't make a lot of money, but I want him to go to a good center. Any advice would be wonderful.

Lakeside childcare is a nice family -oriented daycare in the Ballwin area (Dougherty Ferry and Big Bend). It is not really expensive, but they try to provide educational activities for the children and to create as much of a homelike environment as possible. My daughter attended there for some time when she was between nannies.
lakeside-childcare.com I believe is their website with more contact information.
Hope this helps - B.
Hi T.! I've been doing daycare in my home for 25+ years. We do pre-school activities, crafts, dance, play outside, lots of reading, etc. I charge $75.00 per week,Mon.-Fri, from 7:30 to 5:00.I have excellant references. No one here smokes, drinks or has a criminal record(it's just myself, my husband and our two dogs.) If I can be of any help, let me know. I'm located in the vicinity of I-44 and Jamieson on the western edge of St.Louis.
