Just moved to New York..where are all the good thrift stores??? Ive been to a goodwill....but didnt find any good clothes for my kids.
Anyone??
Salvation armys? Church thrifts? etc??

Vintage Kidz in Larchmont. I have been there before and bought some things. They are opening a Goodwill store next week in New Rochelle (I believe near the new Shop Rite). There is a also a Salvation Army in Port Chester. FYI..I seem to find the best clothing at tag sales for my toddler son. Just check Craigslist and LoHud.com each week for tag sale listings.

Affordables in Dobbs Ferry is excellent.
I've been to the place in Larchmont too and found some cute stuff. It's small and crowded, but at least you know everything is out there for you to see. There is also a place out in Dobbs Ferry I think that takes kids stuff, called Affordables on 10 main street. We were going to take things there, but ended up donating or passing most of it on. They have a website too.
look up a place called unique... see if there is one in your area.. we have them in nj.. and they are great.. good luck
