My husband and I have been married (13) years. Our beautiful daughter is eleven. I got pregnant at(25) and had her at(26). Three years ago we began trying to have a second child. I miscarraged immediately in the first few weeks and have not gotten pregnant since. I got pregnant with my daughter so quickly and easily. I told my husband I was ready and I swear I was pregnant the next day. It took a week for it to show up on the test, but I was. This time I went to the doctors and I've been diagnosed with unexplained fertility. I am (37)and my huband is (43). We are both in great shape most people think I am (25). I have to keep reminding the doctors I may look young, but my clock is ticking. I want three more kids. Alot of my friends have been having their second, third, fourth, fifth child in their (40's) recently. I am keeping myself open until(45). I haven't gone to "science" because my FSH are fine, tubes are cleared and nothing seems to be wrong. We have sex two to three times a week. I spent hundreds on the ovulation monitor, but it upset my husband. He said I was ruining the mood. I tried not to tell him, but when I am ovulating and know it due to the monitor- I become anxious. After I gave birth with my daughter I had a pain on the right side of my abdomen, but the doctors were never able to say what it was or see anything. I've been massaging the area every morning and now my periods don't hurt and my side feels better. I am trying to be grateful that I am in a good marriage and make sure our daughter feels loved. Does anyone else have this issue? How are you adjusting?

What can I do next?

Hi K.,

I will not act like I know anything more than some common sense advise from one who uses ONLY "natural" supplements for great health!
You may feel healthy and look great, however slight trace minerals missing from your diet can cause subtle issues.

What I do is a great multi that has the trace minerals in it for starters. You see, many vitamins & mineral supplements even in health food stores do not assimilate as they should.

When I do not know what I am missing, I make sure I cover all the bases. You are getting anxious, which is one way to really imbalance your system. Also that pain you had may have been an indication of an intestinal issue that herbals can also remedy. I am not here to advertise my company that is a superior nutritional one, but if you want my help you can call me or email me and I will send you the link to my website to read up and check out any of the products that can help you balance whatever may be the problem. My personal email address is ____@____.com Please feel free to call me also: ###-###-#### anytime.
Hoping things get better! M. G

hi K.
you are still young and say you are healthy. so dont lose hope. sometimes things are unexplainable. i would try acupuncture. it regulates all of your systems and opens up any energy blockages. also meditation and visualization of the baby. breathing and deep relaxation. and lots of laughter! i know you dont like ovulation monitors but the OV watch is a great tool. and yes keep it a secret if he doesnt like it.
Never lose hope but enjoy your life in the meantime
xx

Hi K.. What a beautiful story about you, your husband of 13 years, and your precious daughter. When "hubby" and I were married, I was 35 and he was 43 -- first time for both. 1 year went, then two, then three; we were so worried about pregnancy and being educators we did not have money for fertility. we just prayed and did it when I was ovulating. We would pray while he was ... well you know and the forth year it happened! our son arrived and we were so happy -- still are. I guess what I'm saying is keep trying, keep trying and if at 45 it doesn't happen then think about what's next. Right now just do it girl!!!
We really want another one, so we are praying about adoption because I had two fibroids during the pregnancy and I do not want to go through that again. Anyway,
Hope this was a bit of an encouragement for you.

Hi
Have u tried acupuncture. My husband and I also had unexplained infertility. We went to see a specialist and was about to try "science". I decided to take a vacation and start acupunture and next thing i knew "I was pregnant" ..I was 37 when i had my first child.

Good luck and i know it is hard but try not to stress out..i think the emotional mood has alot to do with it too.

Hi K.,
The cause for most infertility problems are a mineral deficiency. Our veggies and fruit are so depleted because of all the fertilizers used.
The company I am affiliated with manufactures high end pre-natal vitamins which I highly recommend, that are actually being absorbed by the body.
You might also consider ridding your home of all toxic products.
You can gladly contact me.

Hi K.,

I did an IVF to have my son. I was passionate about getting pregnant naturally, but after a miscarriage and some more trying (with monitoring of ovulation) I went to an infertility clinic. It was very hard for me to accept. I asked the doctor about trying with artificial insemination first, which we did, and what other less unnatural option there were. I also asked what risk I would take waiting a few months. He said that a month would not likely matter but that a block of three months could in terms of declining fertility. I was 39/40. I had great FSH and many eggs were retrieved and fertilized, and I got pregnant on the first IVF cycle. It's hard not to think that the right herbs or acupuncture would be enough, it is an unjust fact of life that fertility is not forever. I think if you are not morally opposed and you can afford or have coverage, you should consider it.

I wish you the very best!
C.
