I was hoping that someone could suggest a good pediatirician in the Pottstown area. I am very unhappy with our current pediatrician. Thanks!

I sought the same thru this website and was recommended to Dr. W. Shay in Barto. It's a half hour drive, but he is more holistic minded, which we sought. He is a family practitioner and we have all had a routine check up by him now and like him. He discovered that I have vitamin deficiencies that were causing my tiredness and hair loss, and was very attentive to issues with my husband as well - suggesting tests and things that no doctor ever cared to pay attention to. My daughter also loves his office even though all she knows him for is getting vaccinations, but the gummie vitamin she gets afterward makes up for it apparently!

I would highly recommend Penn Care for Kids with offices in both Limerick and Phoenixville. I'm just not sure if that is too far for you to travel?

Dr. Schwartz in Phoenixville is my favorite but my friend has taken her son to the Limerick office for years (8) and loves those docs as well.

Good Luck.

This may be a little bit of a hike for you, but I live in Pottstown and take my kids to Upper Providence Pediatrics in Collegeville. The three doctors (all female!) are great and the support staff (nurses and receptionists) are fabulous! They actually called me the night before the appointment to tell me that my daughter's insurance was for the wrong office and to try to get it corrected before my appointment so I wouldnt receive a denied claim!

I use Coventry Peds. I know all the Drs. there. my sister used to work there. They are all great.

Also Dr. Kennedy at Panda Bear Pediatrician is nice also. He used to work at Coventry Peds. He was there when I delivered my first child. He told me I was his first c-section.

Hi M.,
Panda Bear Pediatrician- 2 offices - 1 located in Collegeville the other in Gilbertsville. Only 2 doctors. My kids go to Dr. Kennedy they just love him. He also great with the parents. He doesn't rush you out the door. The staff is also very nice. I mainly go to the gilbertville office.
Good Luck.

My daughters both see Dr. Marvin Kromash of Today's Kids Pediatrics on Medical Dr in Pottstown (behind the hospital). He has decades of experience but is always up on cutting edge news, extremely friendly, etc. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in search of a new doctor.

I love that he has a "well" waiting room in addition to a "sick" room so that if I'm there for a routine visit I don't worry too much about the germs. My kids love the jungle theme and HUGE stuffed animals from FAO Schwartz, they'll jump in the car to go to the doctor's office any day!
