Where can I find and absolutely fabulous waxer? I've tried several places and all the techs have been awful and more painful than usual. I had a fantastic tech where I used to live but still haven't found one here. HELP!

I use Sherri at Premiere Beauty at 93rd & Metcalf. She is very good! Also I use Donna at Bijin in Prairie Village
Farooza(sp?) is wonderful, she is at Par Exsalonce at college/quivira--I assume she does 'all' waxing, but I have her do my brows and she is amazing!
Salon Burget out by JCCC on College is good. the techs there use hard wax - which means not the cloth strips. Hard wax sticks only to hair and not skin, so much less painful. The only other place I've found that uses the hard wax is in Crown Center - the spa place there - but you have to specify hard wax. '
No matter where you call for an appointment, ask for the hard wax. It makes a huge difference!!! Especially if you are having bikini, braziilian or semi-brazilian. Not having the cloth strip tear up you skin makes life much better!!!
THere are two places in your area that will work...
The first place is at 135th and State Line in the Target parking lot. It is called Bali Nails. I have been there once a month for the last 4 months and although I am not in love with the atmosphere it serves its purpose and it is really fast. You could leave your baby in the car with your husband in be back in 5 minutes!!

Dillards Salon in Oak Park Mall. They are a bit more expensive as well but not much.. It is a spa atmosphere, with robes and indoor waterfalls...I cannot remember the lady's name that I like but ask for the girl from Russia (or Chezklevokia) and they will know who you are asking for.

I had the same challenge when I moved here and it took me awhile to find someone good. I started going to Par Exsalonce at College and Quivira several months ago and I love them. It's a little pricey, but excellent service. I've seen both Christina and Kate and they're both great. I've heard there's another aesthetician there that's excellent too, but I dont' know her name.
