Hi all-

Through a switching of 'pay as you go cell phones'...my younger daughter kept getting a phone call from her brother's old cell number...

The university finally called here (the rotc captain)...and my son has a three year scolarship!!

WOW!

Now...I am waiting for HIS phone call to me (having given the capt his new cell #)...

It has been 2 hours now...HOW can I act surprised????

I SO want to call him...but cannot without giving away "I" know...

Suggestions?

Thanx

So What Happened?

JUST got off the phone with him...

He called...and I mentioned a piece of mail that came (fictitious)...

Then HE told me!!

I am sniveling...

And actually his first words were about the '529' account...and sliding $$ to his sibs...

Honestly...does it get any better??

What a wonderful young man...

***sniffling AND boo hoo hoo ing***

Yay! Such good news!

My son who is a sophomore away at school is impressed by the ROTC kids in his dorm. Says they are out running 5 miles every morning 'bout the time the rest of the kids go to bed, "Crazy Bastards!"

Gonna be a Happy Night at your house tonight! Guess you'll have to wait a little longer.

Congratulations!

Way to go! You should be so proud! He will get a great education and lots of discipline for FREE! And, he'll have a job when he graduates! My husband graduated from West Point and had a 5 year commitment to the Army. We've been in almost 14 years now...it's been a great life for our family!
