I'm pretty sure my system eventually digests what ever starch I swallow.
The article sure makes leftovers sound healthier than I ever would have thought about.
Mamas & Papas-
This article showed up in my FB newsfeed yesterday. http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-29629761It concerns resistant starches and posits that cold pasta is better for you than just cooked pasta, and that re-heated pasta is better yet. What do you think? Or is this just the latest fad?

It's the latest fad.
Bottom line, the best diet is one that consists of a variety of real food, in reasonable amounts.
ETA:
@Christy Lee - I think the reason leftover spaghetti tastes better is that the flavors have had time to swap around.
It seems to have some merit. It's based on where in the intestinal system the carbs break down. Here are some links:

I've always heard that it's better to eat pasta al dente - since it's not as mushy, it's harder to initially digest, therefore burning more calories.
Like those 15 calories matter? I like my pasta a bit mushy!
Sounds like a fad. However, I think leftover spaghetti tastes better. Might just be a coincidence.
