Hello –
I was looking for any recommendations on Montessori schools around the Murphy/East Plano/Richardson Texas area. My daughter is currently enrolled in Heritage Montessori School in Murphy.

While I am happy with her teachers the current administration allows teachers to be rude to parents and supports certain treatment of children I do not agree with.

This appeared to be a good school when I looked but after my daughter being there for a year I have seen and heard some horrible things. Now I do not trust my judgment.

I am currently looking at Breckinridge school in Richardson and I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this school?

If anyone recommends any other Montessori schools in the area I would be very grateful!

What can I do next?

My daughter will be three in June, and she has been going to Breckinridge for over a year. We are very happy with the school - the staff and teachers are wonderful.

My children (4 1/2 and 2) have been at Breck Montessori for about a year. They love the school and we couldn't be more pleased with the progress they are making.

I have two friends that are pleased with the Brekenridge Montessori School. My personal recommendation is Carpe Diem in Richardson. My daughter was there for 3 yrs and absolutely loved the experience. Yes, it is more expensive but I had no worries. I had one issue that came up that was handled professionally and to my satisfaction.

My son went there and I saw things that made me cry for the children and their moms. All I would tell any parent is that take a day off from work and watch..... your gut feelings are always right when it comes to your child. We now go to an awesome school called North Star Learning Center on North Star and N. Renner. The teachers, staff and kids are all wonderful. I am happy and so is my son. I wanted a Montessori school but I will give that up so my son is happy and in a place where he is loved. He has learned so much and they use Saxon learning program. Please email me for anyother questions.
