Does anyone have any pediatricians they would recommend in the Lakeview area? My OB GYN gave me a long list of referrals but I would love to hear from anyone who has had good experiences with any doctors in that area. Thank you!

Another recommendation for Children's Healthcare Associates! I take my newborn (2 months) to Dr. Lyons and he's fantastic. Dr. Monroe saw my daughter when she was in the NICU after she was born, and she was great too.

We really like Lakeview Pediatrics (Dr. Salem, Chang, Newport) on Belmont. It's just east of Ashland. We have a 4 month old daughter and have been very pleased with all three doctors.
We love our pediatrician practice! It's called Town & Country. There is an office on Clybourn, on Lincoln/Devon, and one in GLenview. The best part is that they have evening and weekend hours too!
I go to Lakeview Pediatrics. They're on Belmont just east of Ashland. They have 5 female doctors and a fantastic nursing staff. Their # is ###-###-####. The doctors are all wonderful and always listen. Whenever I've called with questions, I always get a call back within a few hours.
I was goign to recommend the same practice as Alexa's --but two other doctors there that I've seen, Dr. Rosenburg (our primary) and Dr. Slivnick. I guess EVERY doctor there is great! I dont' have experience with Dr. Monroe but we have seen Dr. Lyons and he is very young and funny and energetic and kids really love him. Dr. Slivnick is also hysterical, loves playing with the babies, she has a really frenetic energy and my baby loves her. Dr. Rosenburg is really funny and smart too, but his humor is quieter and more for hte parents (i.e., he's not making funny faces and funny voices to amuse the kids). He seems very thoughtful and intelligent, and he take s alot of time with you and asks a lot of questions, you never feel rushed. So all of the docs there are great, but for different reasons. Regardless, it's a wonderful practice, and with free valet parking in the city? holy cow, it can't be beat. :-) good luck. L.

I'm a pharmaceutical rep who calls on that office and would've chosen them for my one-year old if I had known about them when she was born (she was born in Evanston so we go up there for her appointments). T & C is affiliated with Children's Memorial.

Try Children's Healthcare(Northwestern affiliate) Sign up for Dr. Kenneth Lyons or Dr. Deanna Monroe. Both are fabulous! They are located at Diversy and Sheffield. Free Parking, great nurses(who respond to every silly phone inquiry without delay) can get sick apts day of. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I would definately go with Town and COuntry. Everyone there is so nice and accomodating. It is nice that they have 3 locations (2 in the city and one in Glenview). We go to the Glenview location but I have heard great things about the Clyborn location, too! I would rec. Dr. Holmes or Dr. Hirsch. Both have been wonderful, caring and supportive.
