Hello Moms,

Anyone have a daycare center / home daycare provider that they could recommend in the Park Cities/ Northpark Mall area? This is my first baby, and I'll be going back to work at the end of May.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Nido Montessori run by Lili Panko on Marquita Ave. is one I have been really impressed with. She turned the entire downstairs of her house into a child-friendly montessori environment, everything there is geared towards the children. This is an infant/toddler program. I would feel completely comfortable sending my child there.

My daughter goes to The Community School of the Park Cities, on Hilcrest and Binkley. We all love it!

I live in University park and have some suggestions, how old is the baby? I needed full time daycare/school and my challenge was my daughter was only 2 and alot of the schools do not accept until age 3 or they just do half days or mornings only. I would suggest St. Christophers Montessori on Lovers Lane,Highland Park Presbyterian day school , or Zion Luthern, for toddlers and if younger I would check on the nanny site I used and we have had our Nanny for over a year. The price of a nanny works out to be the same or less than a daycare/preschool

I have a great nanny that will be looking for a full time job in the next few weeks. I have hired a live-in and will no longer need her. What exactly are you looking for hour and salary wise? She wants to work 9-6/M-F at $15/hr. Let me know and I will give you all of her information if you like.

K.,

I am not sure what your situation is, but I would go for a nanny. Being a working mom is not easy and having a nanny really helps you (and is better for your child).
