So What Happened?

thanks for the reccs mommies. we had my son's 3rd birthday party there. we had a good amount of ages from babies to pre-teens and everyone enjoyed themselves. the character (clown) was great and they really did a good job of keeping the party going. the face painting was a hit! my only gripe is they spelled my son's name wrong on the cake (even after i emphasized how to spell his name, more than once...but ok). also, i wasn't too thrilled about the "push" for us to offer a gratuity as we were finalizing our bill. thinking about doing adventureplex for his next bday just to change things up. thanks again ladies!

My son like it when he was younger. He even had a fun at a birthday party there recently (he is almost 4). I think it is great for kids under 3. After that AdventurePlex is the place to be!

We have gone there for birthday parties a few times. Parties are always a blast. I am not sure how fun it is if you just go there by yourself, however. A playdate there might be a good idea too.

My boys like this place but prefer Adventure Plex in Manhattan Beach or Kid Concepts in Torrance.

I have been there many times.

I have been for open play during the week and it is really fun. This location is very sunny (versus the Culver City site which has no windows). I agree with one mom, no worries, so go with a mom friend so the kids can play and you can talk.

Last year we did my daughter's b-day party there (3 years old) and have booked again for her 4 year party. She requested it. They do a great job. You have a 2 hour slot, which is just enough time. They keep things moving along. If you get the all inclusive package, then pizza and cake for the kids are provided, goodie bags, and a character. There is a pirate character that is perfect for boys and a mermaid or princess for girls and a clown choice too. They even pack up all the leftovers, so when you are ready to leave, you just load up the car. It was a real no fuss party. So if you can afford and are willing to pay the expense, then it is TOTALLY worth it.

Good luck.
E.

My 5 y/o son loves it and I do too! You can just let them go play and dont have to watch over them because it's totally safe.

I took my 3 year old there about 4 months ago and he had a great time. I think it is more geared toward the young group about 3 and under. It is clean and you can bring food to eat.
