I am a 25 year old first time mother. I live with my son and my wonderful girlfriend. Her and I had the child together and even though I gave birth to him we both want to be called mommy. Any suggestions on what we could have him call us to distinguish ourselfs from each other.

What can I do next?

You could have your son call you mommy, and your girlfriend Momma (and her first name) sorta like you do with grandma's, like i plan on having my son (once he is born) call my mom Grandma deb, and his dad's mom Grandma paula.

Whatever works for you guys. Good luck! ;-) my email is ____@____.com if you want to talk. my baby isnt due till Jan. 25. 2007, but i know i'm going need some help!!

address one as mommy and the other as momma, that is what my friend did and it works just fine....

The only advice that I could give....have him call one of you mom and the other mommy. Or maybe even some kind of nicknames. That choice would really be up to both of you.

I would suggest that you (mommy) and your partner(momma) and her name. Good luck in raising your son together and God bless.
