Well ladies, here I am, 3 years after I conceived our first child, we're going to take another crack at it. :) This month, I took some ovulation tests, and I should have ovulated at day 15 or 16. I did ovulate. Tests were positive. Husband was out of town on day 15 and day 16, of course, so this month doesn't really count... we are going to start next month assuming he doesn't have to go out of town for work! But we did our thing before and after his trip, so maybe, just maybe there was something there to cover us into ovulation.

I should have started my period yesterday. I'm like clock work, 29 days. There was a little smudge of merky something or other yesterday, but has been nothing since. Pregnancy tests show negative. Watch, I'll start my period tonight when I take our daughter to swim class... joy! ::shutter:: I'm enjoying the thought of trying to figure out where to find a tampon before I climb into a pool... ugh. So could that have been the start of my period? could that have been implantation? could that have been my period?? How strange. Usually my period is heavy and i know it's started. yesterday was just... a tiny merky blerky colored dob. guess I'll just wait it out and see what happens.

What can I do next?

Implantation can happen anywhere from 6-12 days after fertilization, with an average of 9. So technically it's not too late for it to occur. It could've taken a few days to travel down and out of your body. Only thing is pregnancy test would most likely be positive already. But all you can do is wait. If your period doesn't come in a couple of days, just retest.

It's too late for implantation... that usually happens 5-7 DPO.

You are 14 DPO? If you ovulated on the 15 and today is the 29th?

If your showing a negative test then, odds are, you are not pregnant.

Good luck next month, though!!!!!!!!!

It could go either way! It comes down to just waiting it out. Good luck!
