Have them guess what their purse weighs,,and then weigh them and see who came closest, or whos weighed most, least.
Blindfold them and see who can find their wallet first, and maybe who can figure out coins, penny, nickle, dime, quarter.
Confiscate each purse as they arrive and hide them under a cover. Number each one and the first game is to see who can guess whos purse is whos. Then return them and play the other stuff.

play a different game: post it note on your back of someone famous, you
can ask each other 2 questions each like "am I male or female?". You
guess who you have on your back and win.
Other game....you have a tray of 20 household items, cover it w/a cloth
napkin, uncover it to show everyone for 20 seconds, cover it back up,
everyone must list as many things as they can remember. The one
with the most items listed wins!

Are you looking for games that involve a purse? I've not heard of purse parties. You could ask for somewhat unusual but still possible items and the one who has that item in their purse gets points or a prize. You could give a prize for the messiest, fullest, neatest, least full purses; the largest, the smallest. You could have a purse with items in it. Show the items and then put them back in the purse and ask guests to list what they were.

I thought a purse party was somebody bringing purses to sell.. Hmmmm you must be talking about something different
