Has anyone tried these products? Are you happy with them? How have you found it to compare cost-wise? Which products have you liked the best? Least? How expensive does the shipping get?

What can I do next?

They are horrible. They are expensive. They don't clean well. Oh and they aren't really green like they claim to be. They don't list all the product ingredients and trying to get that info is like pulling teeth.

I have tried these products and am also a marketing rep for them. I have not been actively working the business but am still a loyal customer. I love the products and have completely converted my home. Even with factoring in the shipping, I am saving money because of the cost savings on my products (especially the laundry supplies)...and they are safer to use.

I have liked all of them but my favorites would be the laundry detergent and fabric softener, sun block, and vitamins (and I didn't take vitamins before).

There are better products that are less expensive and don't require a monthly purchase.

I tried it and did not like it. You have to order a minimum of so many "points" and I didn't know what that meant initially. For me it meant spending WAY more than I would normally spend a month on these kinds of products. It was not worth it to me. Plus I did not like that I couldn't see the ingredients to check to make sure these things were really eco-friendly. I can get the same type of safe cleaners etc at Trader Joes for the same amount of money. I did not find that any product I ordered was all that much better than what I use now. I might have kept doing it if it weren't for the minimum order rule but spending that much a month was not in my budget! I forget now what the amount was...maybe it came to about $50-$65 a month.

I was a member for almost 1 year. It was expensive, but I LOVE the toothpaste (you can get no flouride). Their signature Tea Tree Oil is really quality and great to have in the house. I purchased their make-up, which was similar to Mary Kay/Avon. I don't think the make-up or skin care products are really more "green" than regular products, but nice (except the shampoo gave us dandruff). I really do like many of the cleaning products. I take different vitamins and theirs are not made that well, so making the minumum was hard. I ordered all the cleaning supplies and 9 tubes of toothpaste and canceled my membership. I think they do free memberships in June. If I join again (in a couple years), it will to be to repurchase cleaning supplies and toothpaste and then cancel. Per load laundry and dish soap (over .33 per load) is pricey when compared to other green products (close to .17 per load). I spent 68-85 per month.

I had looked into working with Melalucea through one of those at home mommy work things. My husbands parents actually used Melalucea when he was young, and he remembered specifically how terrible the toothpaste tasted.
I talked to his mom and she said they used it for a couple of months, but didn't like the products. That is why I decided not work with them, and I work with Ameriplan instead. :)

I don't have any experience with their products for the last 20 years though. Things may have changed. :)

My in-laws have been selling it for about 5 years.
As for the products - some of the cleaners work wonders, but they are super concentrated so they last forever. The Sol-U-Mel is the one we use (still) the most often. I really liked their unscented lotion too. There was nothing really special about anything else (although we haven't bought new products in about 2 years).
My in-laws gave us a bunch of free stuff and talked about how great it was until we finally caved in and signed up to see under them. They kept saying we would buy more than the needed $35/month to stay active (I think that's how much it was), but that never happened. Every month we bought more and more stuff we didn't need (stocking up) to stay active. So stupid. We stayed for a little over a year because my DH didn't want to hurt their feelings, and during that time wasted SO much money! Like I said, while I appreciated some of the products, overall it just wasn't worth it. I felt like the dish soap left a residue on everything, I stuck with Tide for laundry simply because it's what I have always used, the shampoos and conditioners made my hair feel really heavy, Flinstones vitamins were cheaper than their kids ones, etc.
If you are thinking about trying it, I would ask someone you know to purchase a few products for you first, and then go from there.
You can PM me if you have any questions about any specific products.
Good luck!!

I think that it is very expensive. Especially since they make you buy a certain amount of points per month. It ended up costing me around $65.00 per month for the few things that I bought. That was too rich for my blood. There were a few products that I did not like at all. Just wasn't worth the money. I used to sell the products and I can't sell it if I don't like it. So I ended up canceling the whole thing. Just not worth it!

my mom signed up for it. it ended up costing her more because its based on "points" and you have to spend a certain amount every month. so she ended up with tons of products that she couldn't use up fast enough and i don't think they were any better than the dollar store stuff. she finally cancelled and took forever to use everything. i wouldn't do it.

I heard that customers have a minimum order requirement. Are you looking for green products? Try Snap. These products are awesome. The disinfectant cleaner is around $10.50 but it will last you a year. It replaces about 36 bottles of other cleaners that you would use throughout the year and it saves you about $108/yr. Use a couple of the Snap products and you can save quite a bit throughout the year.
For my glass I use the auto glass cleaner they have. No streaks....love it.

I use their products. I do like some of them, but not all of them. My orders ended up being around $65 to $75 per month. I acutally just canceled it because I can't afford it anymore. I have used and used to sell norwex products. They work amazing at first, but I noticed after a few months they smelled terrible and just didn't work very good. I would wash them after every use and even boil them once a month like I was told, and the stains and smell was just terrible! Trust me, I know ALL about them, as I sold them for about a year.

my in-laws are huge into melaleuca but I had to quit them due to the point system. I was spending 70 bucks a month when all I needed was a disinfectant cleaner. They dont smell the greatest they cleaned okay. If you plan on the vitamins and everything then they are great although the vitamins gave me major upset stomach even with food, you have to take a ton of them its not like a one a day thing and even my kids with the kid vitamin complained of tummy pain. But my inlaws dont have problems with the vitamins so maybe im just weird. I use method cleaning products which I like better. I do have to say though that i believe that switching from the harsh chemicals has helped my daughter tremendously. she would cough all night long the dry hacking cough pretty much since birth until we switched. Now whether she outgrew that cough or it was the chemicals I don't know but i like the more natural cleaners.

I've used the products, and really like them. Unfortunately, they are expensive and require you to make a minimum purchase each month to get the low price.

One of the items I really like is the "Tough and Tender" counter spray.... it is a concentrate, so you mix it yourself in the spray bottle. It lasts forever! The laundry pre-spot is great, also... it took out a big blood stain on my daughter's purse easily.

I do like their products, but at this time, I still have a BIG supply of several of the items.......

I worked for this company and I LOVED every single one of their products. I didn't love the price though. To get the discount price (which isn't really discount because their items are already way over priced) you have to buy a certain amount each month which is atleast $60. The shipping was always atleast $9. I loved their laundry detergant, shampoo, kids shampoo, lotion, and basically all their cleaning products. Talk about some great smelling products. If I could afford to buy every month, I would. I think they would have alot more sales if they would bring their prices down.

I have not tried them, but I know some who have. I know they are expensive, but I understand they last a long time too. However, if you're looking for a more natural way to clean with out chemicals, you should try Norwex cleaning cloths they are microfibler cloths infused with silver (a natural antibacterial). You use the cloths with just water. They do a fabulous job and glass and windows never looked so good. You will love them! I love them so much I started selling them. You can check them out on my website: lorifogolini.norwex.biz

My sister and her family used them and they were required to purchase a huge amount each month and if they didn't place the order they did it for them. I only use Arbonne products we are not required to purchase to remain signed up and get the discount and can still renew our membership each year for only $15 and keep getting the discount. The products don't have any fillers or added ingredients what you see is what you get so they last a really long time, they are made with only natural ingredients and they do what they say they. I won't buy any other products for the hair and skin or nutritional supplements if Arbonne doesn't have it then we don't use it! The shipping is the least expensive of any of the companies, I just wait and order when several clients want to order and split the shipping so that makes it even more less expensive. PM me if you want more information. I assume you are looking for products to help your family be healthier.
