Psychic..

Mostly nonsense, if you ask me. Now, people who REALLY have that ability...I would NEVER dabble in that. To be very honest (and I'm not an alarmist) I think it's a tool of the devil.

I know people who are psychic, clairvoyant, and just really intuitive. I can certainly say that they are not frauds, and are extremely gifted. What information they do pass on to me or to my family, has never been proven false. Mostly info about a family member who has an ailment, or problem, and they have told me to make sure they get such and such checked out.

Their are definetly those in the money business that are fake, and I would never find myself wanting to go to them for anything. I do just fine on my own. :)

Added: I'm sorry , " tools of the devil?" are you freaking for real? That's just plain ridiculous.

I am a psychic/medium. I am not a fraud nor do I get my info from demons or the devil. Being a psychic/medium is a gift the same as the gift of music--art--dance--even a person who is a gifted carpenter, or athlete it is a gift fron heaven. I have done many readings for people some for money some for free. I have been amazingly accurate even with someone I have never met before. I have told women their boyfriend's name without a hint. I was at the end of a reading once with a woman she got up to leave and I looked at her and asked if she was feeling okay and she said yes; I said are you sure because I just saw in the hospital surrounded by doctor's and nurses. A month later she had to have emergency surgery.

I personally don't think they can tell you something you don't already know. I would avoid it.

After my fil died a few summers ago my mil started going to one fairly regularly. I don't really believe in that stuff but I'm not really a non-believer either - i think if you hear something that helps you then it's all good.

The first few times she went she came back with some interesting tidbits. Something about how my fil knew we'd had a baby (which is pretty much impossible since we live 1600 miles away from where the "reading" was held)
but after that the message seemed to always be the same. The last time she went she was depressed when she came back because the psychic didn't tell her anything "new" or news from her deceased hubby.

I then started to get worried that she was using this as a crutch instead of dealing with her grief and his death (not sudden but fairly unexpected - he had stage 4 cancer, went into remission, then died 6 months later) so I started to discourage her going.

My overall take - heh - you get what you want out of those experiences.

I don't think there is such a thing as "good feedback" from anything dealing with the occult. Dabbling in such things is one way to open yourself up to demon possession. Now, if you don't believe in such things, then what is the point of a seance? If you do believe in them, then why would you choose to expose yourself in that way?

I have had (in the past) several good readings--O. from a medium and O. from a woman using psychometry (sp?) where they hold O. of your objects and "read" that. I've had very positive, specific results.

Never seen one, its just not for me. Whatever one could tell me about myself I already know. Anything I coulld be told about the future I don't want to know. That's half the zest in life, IMO, the unknown.

Hubs & I went to one very early in our dating relationship. It was fun & a good bit spooky. She gave us a nudge in the right direction (towards each other) which was nice. It freaked him out & he said then & there that he would never go back to another one. It's 14 years later & he's stood true to his word.
