I have a 6 month old and am wondering if anyone can give me an estimate of child care costs in the SL area?

What can I do next?

J.:
The going rates are $15 lowest & $40 highest. I have 2 children 11mos & 2yrs & that is what I have found. These are both licensed & non-licensed people quoting these rates!! I hope this is helpful. I would say $20 is average...
Good luck,
K.

Hi J., I have found that the homecare, daycare is around $25.00 a day. If you take your child to a business, the price is usually higher.

Hope this helps.

Hi J.,

I had a nanny for 2 1/2 years and we paid $8/hour for one child. If you are looking at just babysitting, you can probably get away with $5-7/hour depending on the experience.

Hope this helps.

I have called around and the average is about $125 to $150 per week. I recommend La Petite in my area. I am not sure what area you are in. I entered Child Care on Google and found some numbers and just started to call. Then I visited the best ones. (I have a 3 month old) Good Luck!
