We are moving to Fullerton, CA in a couple of weeks and looking for a great preschool in the Fullerton area. We are open to ALL suggestions (private, religious, all day, half day, etc). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Call Children's Home Society at ###-###-####. They have a database of all the preschools in Orange County and will give you referrals for ones in the area you're looking in. Then you just have to go check them out. There are quite a few in that area and really depends on what you want.

My son went to both Christ Lutheran on Harbor and Hermosa
714 870 760 and went to Emmanel on Mesa Verde ###-###-####. Both were great schools. If you need all day that would be CL, Emmanuel is only til 2:30 max... CL is from 7am-6pm.
Good Luck- if you have any questions, you can send message

My friend is very happy at Brea United Methodist Preschool. She is also new to the area and has been very happy there.

Check out the ROP programs at Troy High School and Fullerton High School. They offer a careers with children class where the high school students help teach the preschoolers. My son goes to another ROP program in orange county and it is awesome. The teachers and student teachers are amazing and very patient with the kids. The high school kids are learning about the kids and teaching them too. My son's school offers a 4 hr class Mon-Thurs and it's only $200/month.

My daughter went to Fullerton Community Nursery School, or FCNS and had a wonderful experience there. It's a co-op, so you'll have to work a couple times a month and help out in the classroom, but it's run by three women, all friends. It would be worth your while to at least check it out. Here's the website: www.fcns.org. Their phone number is ###-###-####.

Good luck with your move, and welcome to Fullerton!

Take care,
L.
