Most school systems have the beginning of the school year when kids are added in August or September. I believe all school systems would say she has to be 4 before the first day of school in those months. So she wouldn't be old enough until Fall to go to Pre-Scshool. You might try to find a Head Start in your area, they have a free 3 yr old preschool program. They are 3 before the first day of school in August and turn 4 during the year. Our boy is in the 3 yr, old program and he just turned 4 a few weeks ago. He'll be in a regular 4 yr. old Pre-K class in the Fall at our local elementary school.

I don't know about your State... but, some Public Schools... will have what is called "PreK" or "Jr.K." For the younger kids or late born kids.... but who are turning 5 years old.

You just have to call the schools, in your area and ask them.

OR, do a Google search... for State sponsored preschool programs....

Just to let you know that just because it is offered by a public school doesn't mean it will be free. My school district offers a preschool but there is a charge for it. I don't know about Troy if they have anuthing but the best way to find out is to call them and ask. Good luck with your search for a preschool.

From what I see, there is no free preschools in Troy. The least expensive that I see is P.A.L.

I just looked up Troy, MI preschools in a Google search.

Hope that helps!

There are 2 co-op preschools in Troy > My kids went to St. Stephens on Adams Rd. It's not free but much cheaper than normal preschools and you get to help out in the class once or twice a month. Check them out if cost is an issue for you. We loved it and the kids got a great start in their education - small classes and great teachers..
