Anyone recommend some hotels in Port Aransas that will accommodate a family of 4 children? Even if we have to use our air mattress we are okay with.

The room we stayed in had a bedroom, living room and kitchen area. Kids could easily sleep on the couch sleeper and/or floor of living room.

Have you considered renting a condo? We've had family/friend vactions there before and that might be a better option - we have stayed at the Sandpiper - http://www.sandpiperportaransas.com/ - you have several options as to how many rooms you need. Plus, they have full kitchens so you don't have to go out to eat every night. Laundry facilities are available as well.

We always stay at the Courtyard (courtyardcondos.com). My parents like Tropic Island. (http://www.tropicislandresort.com/). They have a kitchen suite that will accomodate up to 6. Courtyard is walking distance to beach. Tropic Island is close to stores and restaurants. Have fun!
