how do you cook your? i've got a package of boneless butterfly pork chops. it is a big package. thinking of cooking them tomorrow. just wanted some suggestions. hoping to find a new super yummy recipe! Thanks ladies!

I've done them with a honey sesame sauce, mandarin oranges, peaches...Season All and broth...the mandarin oranges and peaches get put on the last 5 minutes of cooking...
Sweet and sour pork (pineapple, bell peppers, carrots, celery, onions and garlic)
served with rice and spinach, buttered noodles and broccoli....

Well, you can always bake them in the oven with white rice (correct water amts) the pork and topped (generously) with Lipton Onion Soup Mix Packets
I like to cube the chops, pan fry them, get one side REALLY crispy then add broccoli, carrots, pineapple (diced canned drained) with Sweet n Sour Sauce, serve over brown rice
Crock pot with veggies then roll into tortillas
potatoes, carrots, tomatos, celery are all good ones - add cheese, lettuce, salsa and cilantro lime rice and you have a damn good burrito or enchilada (depending on your style)
my kids & hubby love rice krispie chops (basically like shake n bake only cheaper) in a zip loc bag add enough cereal to coat season the cereal w/garlic & onion powder, sea salt, cracked pepper & paprika to taste crunch up the cereal a little then add a couple of chops at a time in a pan add olive oil to fry or place the chops in a baking dish drizzle them w/olive oil & a little melted butter bake at 350 til done.
I cooked some last weekend and they came out yummy.
I browned onion, celery and garlic in olive oil. Took that out of the pan then seared salt and peppered chops. Mixed tomato paste, chicken stock, the browned veggies, thyme and bay leaf, and poured over the chops in the pan. I let it cook down until the chops were fork tender then removed them from the pan and added in some Tony Sachery's instant roux to thicken the gravy. Tossed the chops back in and served over stone ground grits cooked with chicken stock and milk.
I also bake them coated with a mixture of apple sauce, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. These are good with egg noodles.

We grill them! They freeze great.
I love them, but my family is so-so. I do the Oven Fry package from the store. Takes 20 mins and everyone eats them. Depends on your crew, :-)
I like to marinate them in a pineapple BBQ sauce for a day, then have husband cook them on the grill.
But when pork chops are on sale here, we'll buy a large package, and put them in our spaghetti sauce. Husband will put them in the sauce raw and let the sauce simmer all day, adding fresh herbs and stuff, allowing the pork chops to cook in the sauce and they fall off the bone, then we go fishing for all the bones. If you have boneless - even better for you. One less hassle. I have, in the past, just cooked the pork chops in a skillet and then added a jar of spaghetti sauce too. Tasted good to us!
I make a rub out of garlic powder, thyme, sage, seasoned salt, paprika and pepper and cook them on my George Foreman grill. Or bread them and fry them if I am not feeling so health conscious... I have also layered them with BBQ sauce and onions in the crock pot.
Caribbean Sammies or Cuban Cordon Bleu are my favs.
For Sammies
- Cut chops in half if thick (1" > 1/2")... pound out to 1/4 inch with bumpy side of mallet
- Marinate in Cuban Mojo* for 30+ minutes (up to a couple hours, or put in ziplock and freeze for when you want cuban sammies w/out needing to 'beat the meat'
(2 cups orange juice, 1 cup lemon juice, 1 cup lime juice, 2 tbs of oregano, and a LOT of garlic...about half a head or 5-6 big cloves...minced or pressed)
While they're marinating prep the following
- Garlic mayo (just mix garlic and mayo)
- Chopped cilantro
- Sliced jalapenos or Banana peppers... broil
- Slice up a few onions and get them sauteeing w butter for grilled onions
Pan sear or broil the marinated pork w/ just a little cinnamon or cumin or both.
Assemble sammies on rolls:
Roll, garlic mayo, peppers, meat, grilled onions, cilantro, roll.
((These AREN'T cuban sammies, they're from a different island, similar concept... just no ham, pickles, or mustard. For real cuban sammies add ham, pickles, and mustard and delete the onions))
Cuban Cordon Bleu
Pound out butterflied chops (leave 'together')
Marinate in mojo for 30+ minutes
Layer with ham, swiss, grilled onions, peppers
Fold closed
Bake at 450 until pork is 140 degrees
Pull... open a touch, poke in cilantro

For non butterflied chops... I'm rather fond of wrapping them with bacon

If you buy the whole (or half) loin and cut your own chops... Mario Batali has a FABULOUS rolled roast for the roast end that's stuffed with sauteed fennel bulb, pork sausage, onion, breadcrumb. The fennel and pork combo is to die for.
On the grill. Season the way you like and let them sit for an hour or so.
We also like shake and bake.
My husband likes to grill them, but I don't care for that as much as Oven Fry or Shake & Bake.
I also like to make a dish wish a pork loin (but you can use cubed boneless chops too) where you brown it with a package of taco seasoning and then add some spoonfuls of peach preserves (or apricot), cook a little longer and serve over rice with veggies.
My FIL also uses Lipton onion soup mix too and loves it.
Google pork chops in Apricot sauce... it's such an easy AND DELICIOUS recipe. SUPER easy and total time is like 20 mins. I don't have it with me or I would type it out- sorry!!
Google recipes for the crockpot, they come out so tender.
Also, follow a recipe for Marsala Chicken but substitute the pork chops. Yum! I'm on the road or I'd give u more.
