Something I noticed was after each pregancy, my PMS symptoms grew more and more like pregnancy symptoms. Sore breasts were my only difference, I only had them when pregnant! I still every month get tired and bad nausea.
It may sound silly but I just realized that many PMS symptoms are very similar to pregnancy symptoms. For the last few months, my period has been irregular (and late even up to 42 days) and I was getting symptoms as if I was pregnant (ie nausea) but would always test negative, both blood and urine. I tried to do some research on ways to tell the difference but can't seem to find much. So, I was wondering if anyone has experienced these symptoms and could tell me any difference. Thank you.

I would double check with your doctor about possible health changes in your uterus. After having children things in there can change. Have you always been irregular? Not to get too personal, but are you an older mother? I am, so hopefully that's not a too offensive question, some are sensitive to their age, but periods change a lot with aging.
I would rule out health changes first. And if everything is healthy, then I would buy CHEAP pregnancy tests (dollar store) so that you can test when you are concerned without spending a bundle.
PMS & Pregnancy symptoms can be very similar for many people, so it could be normal. And they may be no way of telling other then testing and waiting for aunt flo to arrive.
Also depending on how long ago you started getting periods again after your last child, maybe your body is still adjusting to a regular routine? Are you breastfeeding, sometimes that could effect cycles as well.
I have always been irregular, very irregular. For me, it was impossible to know, unless I checked specifically if I was pregnant. Time can fly by, in one's busy life, and I had an unforseen miscarriage. Didn't see it coming. Check with your doctor regarding your menstrual cycle, for some women are irregular. Talk to that wonderful man on best practices for family planning (that would work for both of you) when deciding to bring in another darling child. and Yes, Motherhood is challenging but very rewarding.
